Now You Will Need To Create A Shopping Cart, For Your Website

Business.

How to create an online store - if you are interested in selling products online, for your small business, you may have come across various companies that will create one for your, or companies that will host the website for you. Here are the things that you will need to buy if you want to create a website for your small business. 1) Wysiwyg.

However before you use one of these companies, services or products you should first learn about the hidden costs of creating a website. - you will have to buy a software known as a wysiwyg. A wysiwyg will cost you either$ 300 or$ 40 The other option is to just hire someone to create the website for you. This allows you to create a website, without knowing any technical skills. You will probably end up paying them about$ 1, 00 2) Web Hosting. To do this, you will need to find a web hosting company. Now you need to put your website on the internet so that others can access it.

Web hosts will usually cost around$ 5 per month. - explaining this is a bit beyond the scope of this article, however you will realize why if you do some more research. 3) domain name. In general with web hosts you get what you pay for. Now you need to register a domain name. Unlike web hosting, all domain registrars are pretty much the same, so it' s best to just look at price. Domain names cost around$ 10 a year, and you can purchase them from a domain registrar( most web hosts are also domain registrars) . Some times a free domain name will come with your hosting package.

If this is the case, then you don' t need to worry about finding a place to register your domain name. 4) Shopping Cart. - this usually occurs when you buy a more expensive package. Now you will need to create a shopping cart, for your website. The shopping carts allow you to sell your products directly from your website, so that you can create your own little store online. To do this you will want to use a third party service. Shopping cart services will cost you around$ 100 a year. 5) Auto Responders.

This will make them return to your store more often. - if you want to have a succesful website, you will need to be able to contact your customers, to inform them about new discounts, offers or products. The way you do this is by creating a mailing list. A mailing list software will cost a minimum of$ 18 a month, and that' s if you have a really small mailing list. 6) SEO Consulting Firm. You will collect the peoples names, so that you, and email address can send them emails telling them about new offers. You will need to find out what keywords your company should target, so that you can get the most page views to your website. You will need to hire a company( or for smaller projects individual) to help you build backlinks to your website, and submit your site to all of the major Search Engines( Google, etc, Yahoo. ).

An SEO Consulting Firm will tell you exactly what keywords to target, and how you can change the content of your page to get indexed by Google and Yahoo highly. 7) Link Building and SE Submission. - these services can charge anything depending on how much you want done, however a good price to spend on this is$ 10you will want to repeat this 3 - 4 times per year, for a total of$ 300 - $400 per year being spent on link building. 8) wordtracker. In order to do this, you will need to buy a keyword software tool. Now you will need to continually research the keywords and keyword phrases to make sure that you are targeting the best search terms. You will end up buying WordTracker. (Again the reason is beyond the scope of this article, and you will find out why when you do more research) . As you can see creating a website is very expensive, however it is very valuable in building a sustainable, long term business. The software is very expensive, and it will cost you$ 300 per year.

You will eventually need to create a website to stay current with the times, so you might as well do it now.

People Say That Starting Your Own Business Is Difficult

Business.

Things you need to consider to prepare yourself mentally for starting a business - people say that starting your own business is difficult. They' re not kidding. Guess what?

Starting a business, is a lot, in many ways like having a child - and would you just have a child without thinking it through first? - can you afford to fail? Before you get started, there are lots of things you need to think about and discuss with anyone you can. You might have heard the old saying' only gamble what you can afford to lose' . A massive percentage of businesses fail in their first year. Well, however you approach it, starting your own business is still gambling.

If your financial situation is such that you agonize over every small amount you spend, starting a business is probably a bad idea. - expect that you will fail, and always try your hardest not to. Put it this way: do not expect to succeed. You' ll be pleasantly surprised if things go your way. Will You Stick at It? Note that this doesn' t mean that you shouldn' t believe in yourself and your business - simply that you have to realize the kind of odds you' re up against, and stay realistic.

You can' t get halfway through all this and have a sudden change of heart, or feel like you' re doomed to fail. - you need to prepare yourself for a steady stream of failure being slowly replaced by success. All successful business spend plenty of time doing badly before they start to pick up. Don' t expect the world all at once. Starting a business is one of the most stressful things you can do. Could You Take the Stress? It will affect you mentally, physically and emotionally.

Are You a Survivor? - you need to be strong to deal with this kind of stress, and you need to have someone to turn to for support. There are some people who always seem to make it in the end, regardless of what life throws at them. Many entrepreneurs say that this, is the secret, more than anything of success. You need to be the kind of person whose response to things going wrong is to work harder and get it fixed, not someone who cries and goes into hiding. You need to be a' never say die' kind of person. Remember that it' s not when things start to go wrong that you fail - you haven' t failed until you' ve given up.

You need to be always ready to try again, no matter what gets thrown at you. - be prepared to work hard. When you work on your own, there, though' s no - one to blame - the buck stops where it starts, with you. If you' ve been doing a standard nine - to - five job, you' re probably used to a world where it' s someone else' s responsibility if the work doesn' t get done - you work as fast as you can for the hours you' re told to, and if it' s not done on time then it' s the manager' s fault for not hiring enough people. You Need to Satisfy Every Customer. You need to always be nice to them, trying to meet their needs.

When you run a home business, you can' t afford to lose any customers. - you have to remember that you' re the most senior person they can talk to in this organization, and you have to act like it - when there' s no - one other than you to handle complaints, you have to either give in to customers at every opportunity or watch them take their business elsewhere. If you don' t love what you do, then sooner or later you' re going to want to stop doing it - and when you run a home business, that' s difficult. Do You Really Love What You Do? Besides, you can' t run a home business if you' re always sitting and thinking about how great it' ll be when it' s the weekend. If you can think of another job you' d rather have, then you' re in trouble. No, the only way to succeed in home business is to be absolutely sure that you really love what you' re doing.

Think of it this way: could you run up to someone on the street with a leaflet about your business, and tell them all about it in a way that would really leave an impression? - it doesn' t matter whether you actually could or not - if you think everyone will be interested, believe me, then, they will be.

China recently featured a cartoon version of some of the McDonald' s characters in cartoon form using Chinese children in the background. France has recently run commercials of both a young woman and a young man dressed up in modern fashion that still resembles the clown' s outfit. Also, the Olympics are a time when the whole world shares mascots in like kind. The characters are patterned after Japanese anime styling. First, Make Your Goals Smaller

Business.

6 power tips for creating a law firm marketing plan 2 - on the topic of 6 power tips for creating a law firm marketing plan, we discussed: having a written plan and the five areas you need to set goals in, how to make all your goals s. Next we will discuss the other three power tips. T. goals, The need for accountability.

First, Make Your Goals Smaller. - break up your long - term goals into smaller ones that you can reach on a regular basis. While this may seem contradictory at first, we have found that sometimes setting a goal that' s so big it feels unreachable actually kills your motivation. For example, gaining 50 new clients in the next 12 months may sound overwhelming, but this works out to about 1 per week. While setting a goal of landing 50 new clients may feel overwhelming, by breaking it down into smaller, more actionable steps you can stay focused on achieving your goal. If you know that you convert 50% of prospects that come to your legal practice then you only need 2 new people to walk in your door per week in order to achieve your goal. Next, Focus On the Right Goals.

If there is no commitment to a particular goal it will be very difficult for most people to devote time to accomplishing it. - whenever i have a coaching client that goes more than 2 weeks without achieving the goal they set in their coaching session i start asking questions to determine if this is a goal they really feel passionate about. How do you determine if the goals you have are right for you? When I think about working on this goal and I energized and excited or do I become stressed out, and apathetic, unmotivated? Ask yourself these 4 questions: Is this something I am passionate about? Is this the best way for me to achieve my long term. goals or is there a better, more effective way? Then, Ask Yourself What Achieving Your Goals Will Get You.

Is my time better spent working on something else and should I delegate or outsource this? - i call this, creating the vision. One of the problems is that they fail to ask themselves what achieving their goal of financial success gets them. Too many attorneys work 60+ hours a week, live in a state of perpetual burnout, and seem one step away from leaving the field altogether. If you land 50 new clients and your average client is worth$ 5, 000, than that will be worth about$ 250, 000 to you. What' s the vision you want to create? But what would you do with an extra$ 250, 000?

Hire a business manager so you can take more time away from the office? - spend more time with your family, and significant other, friends? Go on that European vacation you' ve been talking about? Invest in real estate? Think about your financial freedom. Pay off your house? It' s not enough to have a goal.

Before you commit time, energy and resource to a goal for marketing your law firm, make sure it is something you truly care about and that will make a noticeable difference in your practice, your family, your life, and your future. - you need to focus on what will you do when you achieve that goal. I was coaching an estate planning lawyer in Chicago the other week and he honestly didn' t sound too motivated to build his practice. until I asked him to talk about what he would do with the extra money he made from the additional business. Plus I would buy a place closer to my office in downtown Chicago so I wouldn' t have to spend an hour commuting every day each way and we could spend more time together. He said, if I could, Stephen make an extra$ 250, 000 this year my wife and I would take that 3 - week trip to Italy she' s been wanting for the last 10 years. With that recognition, he was ready to move forward in a powerful way to start building his law practice.
